Steel rope according to GOST 14954-80 consists of six strands and a metal core. The rope is characterized by high breaking force, high strength, low deformation coefficient under loads. It is used in lifting mechanisms and lifting and transport machines, on road machines, metallurgical cranes, for inclined lifting of cargo in mines. It is advisable to use steel rope GOST 14954-80 in case of strong abrasive wear, increased loads, high ambient temperature.
