Electric hoists

Electric hoists, winches or hoists are hoisting devices equipped with an electric drive and designed to lift and move various loads. Electric hoists are divided into rope and chain (by the type of lifting element). The electric hoist can be either stationary (stationary) or movable, using an additional electric trolley moving.

Frequently asked questions about Electric hoists

The load capacity and the winding speed of the cable depend on the power. Accordingly, the heavier the load that you need to lift, the more powerful it is to choose a hoist. For example: for lifting up to 400 kg, you can choose a hoist with a power of 1000 W. Hoists with a load capacity of up to several tons have a power of 2000 watts.

It all depends on the weight of the load to be lifted. Tali do not like constant work in the limiting values of load capacity. The load margin must be at least 30% more than the load being lifted. Accordingly, if you need to lift a load of 500 kg, then you should use a hoist with a load capacity of 650 kg.

The hoist comes with a cable with a hook 12 meters long. If the hoist lifts in one branch, then the load capacity will be 250 kg. You can also run the cable into 2 branches using the mounting block. Thus, the load capacity will increase to 500 kg, but the working height will be reduced to 6 meters.

The winding speed of the cable for different models of hoists is from 4 to 10 meters per minute. The higher this parameter, the faster you can lift the load.

The hoists presented on our website are of very good quality and the maximum that can fail if all passport restrictions are observed is friction clutches. Our company independently performs warranty and post-warranty repairs of hoists purchased in our stores. Accordingly, it is not necessary to wait for months until the breakdown reaches the manufacturer, is repaired and comes back. Hoist repair at LOAD-TECH takes on average no more than a week, but of course it all depends on the complexity of the breakdown.
