Aluminum sleeves are used in the manufacture of rope slings for sealing the ends of the rope by crimping. The closing of the ends of the ropes with a sleeve connection is an extruded design of an aluminum sleeve with strands of connected ropes, which are firmly interconnected by the metal of the sleeve, forming a homogeneous body in cross section.
