The short part of the tie-down strap is designed to repair the failed part of the tie-down strap. It consists of a ratchet mechanism (ratchet) with a piece of reinforced tape sewn to it with a hook at the end. 

The ratchet of this belt differs from the standard one, with a double gear ratchet, as well as an ergonomic handle with a rubber coating.

In the Premium Ergo ratchet 5 t, the belt tension is reversed compared to the standard ratchet, which makes it possible to apply more force when tensioning the belt.
