SKR sling

General-purpose cargo rope belt (flat) slings are made from steel ropes and are used for loading and unloading, installation and other work related to the movement of goods by cranes and machines and meet the conditions of use for climatic performance for operation at temperatures from - 40°C to +100°C.

Belt rope slings are more flexible, effectively lighten the load without damaging it, and also create more favorable working conditions for slingers.

Compared to the most common slings of the SKP type (loop rope sling), the SKR sling has the following advantages:

• the flat cross-section of the sling ensures contact with the load over a larger surface and minimizes contact pressure, so that the load is not damaged;
• high flexibility, which is important for good fit of the load in the presence of protrusions, ribs, etc.;
• the ability to sling painted products without damaging the paint;
• the ability to sling items with a discrete surface, such as drums with cable or rope, without the sling cutting between the turns of the cable or rope;
• less weight of slings (see graphs);
• facilitating the work of slingers;
• high load capacity – up to 100 tons and more.

Version 1 – the plane of the loops coincides with the plane of the sling (Fig. 1 and 2)
Version 2 – the plane of the loop and the plane of the sling are perpendicular (Fig. 3).
