A tie down or ratchet is used to securely and reliably secure various loads during transport. It consists of a tape and ratchet (ratchet mechanism) designed to tension the tape. Due to the tension of the belt, the lashing straps exclude the movement and sliding of the load during transportation. Soft polyester tape does not damage or scratch the load and packaging. Conform to the European standard EN 12195-2: 2018.

When buying tie down belts, special attention should be paid to the quality of the tape and ratchet (ratchet mechanism). A poor-quality belt can stretch, loosen or break, which most often leads to damage to the load.
