Ribbon Pedal

The pedal is part of personal falls protection equipment for industrial and sports mountaineering and is used in conjunction with the Ropewalker Jumar Clamp. The pedal is used as a stirrup for a leg or arm for the convenience of lifting a worker along vertical rope handrails in an unsupported space. The pedal is made of polyamide tape with a width of 20 mm and is a length-adjustable tape sling with a loop in the form of a stirrup at the lower end, the upper loop is protected by a PVC braid to increase resistance to abrasion.
